Trade Missions

One of the many ways that we support women business owners is through leading trade missions. Trade missions are used to explore potential international business opportunities and to help create networks of buyers, agents, suppliers and key government contacts in specific countries or regions. Leverage the momentum and historical successes of Atlantic Canadian companies to export your product or service into new markets or grow your current exports!

In-person trade missions typically include traveling to market and 3-4 days of briefings and scheduled business meetings with pre-qualified potential customers, partners, agents, distributors and other key contacts.

Virtual trade missions typically include a virtual welcome reception, mentoring, and scheduled business meetings over a period of 4-6 weeks.

Women business owners interested in exporting can contact Business Advisor Nora Perry (902-457-6320) or Cape Breton Business Advisor Eirinn Fraser (902-217-2660).
