CWB seeking expressions of interest for podcast host

The Centre for Women in Business is seeking expressions of interest for various roles for an upcoming podcast project. The project will include a 10-episode series profiling women business owners across Atlantic Canada, targeted towards young women in Atlantic Canada, 18-34, exploring entrepreneurship as a career option.

We are requesting expressions of interest from registered businesses in Nova Scotia for a producer, host, and graphic designer. Details for the role of host are included below.

The CWB makes no guarantee that this project will be assigned to those who submit an expression of interest and will not be an exclusive contract for the provision of the described deliverables. The CWB may contract others for services the same as, or similar, to those detailed below.

Please submit any expressions via email to cwbmembership@msvu.ca with the subject line ‘CWB EOI – Podcast Host’ by Thursday, November 12 at 5:00 PM.

Deliverables:

• Support the CWB project lead and team to finalize interview format and questions
• Complete 2-3 hours of research for each episode into the guest, their company, and potential questions
• Participate in pre-recording meetings with each guest, including the CWB project lead and producer
• Host episodes
• Support the CWB with marketing and promotion through sharing

Additional Details:

• We anticipate this project to take place from December 2020 – February 2021.
• Meetings with the CWB project lead and team will take place virtually.
• The podcast will feature guests from across the Atlantic provinces and therefore additional meetings and recording itself will need to be coordinated virtually.

Submission Guidelines:

In your expression of interest, please include:

• A brief summary of your hosting experience
• An audio or video sample of you in a hosting environment
• Acknowledgement and your potential availability within the project timeline
• Estimated cost
