We've got three separate workshop series starting in September 2017, and they have been designed specifically for entrepreneurs interested in developing their business skills.

This course is for anyone looking to grow a business through hiring, acquisitions, entering new markets, or forming new partnerships.

Corinne will work with participants to recognize legal issues that arise, and increase their understanding of legal essentials for small business, covering topics such as privacy law, contracts, leasing, income tax and dealing with the CRA, employment law and debt financing.

The goal is to help business owners become better equipped to take appropriate actions, to mitigate risk and take advantage of growth opportunities.

This is a beginner workshop series for those with some social media experience - people who are generally computer savvy, and can navigate the Internet.  You must be open to learning about social networks that are useful for business.

You will learn how to build social media skills and a strategy for implementation with social media expert Anita Kirkbride of Twirp Communications.

Anita has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs learn how to manage their own social media profiles for business, and thrives on helping small business owners find their own unique content.  * Please note that a laptop is required.

                                                                                                                                                        Centre members can attend at no cost, thanks to a partnership with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education. A parking permit is required, and is available through MSVU at a cost of $30. All participants must undergo a needs assessment prior to starting the series.
