HCC: Halifax Business Awards 2022 Nomination Deadline

Nominations are open for the Halifax Business Awards 2022 presented by the Halifax Chamber of Commerce. Nominate yourself, your favourite restaurant, your go-to salon, or the gym that makes you feel your best!

Award Categories

• New Business of the Year – in business less than two years as of August 31, 2021
• Small Business of the Year – total number of employees not exceeded 25 and in operation a minimum of two years as of August 31, 2021
• Export Business of the Year – 40% of customers, partners, or revenues from markets outside of Canada
• Innovative Business of the Year – must have introduced an innovative product or service on or before August 31, 2021
• Not-for-Profit Business of the Year – originality and sustainability in generating income, achieving business objectives, measurable results in communities, commitment to people development, accountable governance

Timeline

• May 7, 2021: Nominations open
• September 10, 2021: Nominations close
• September 13, 2021: Submissions Deadline
• September 14, 2021: Judging process begins
• October 22, 2021: Finalists Announced
• January 27, 2022: 2022 Halifax Business Awards Gala
