CRA: Home Office Expenses Q&A

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in many Canadian employees working from home to help minimize the spread of the virus. This has raised legitimate questions about how eligible employees can claim supplies and work-space-in-the-home expenses.
The Canada Revenue Agency is now in a position to introduce new measures for the 2020 tax year and will offer new tools, along with simplified forms, making the process as easy as possible for Canadians to claim home office expense deductions.
