Submit a Proposal

Members are invited to submit a proposal to present at our monthly POWER Lunch series.

This is a great opportunity to provide skills-based training to other business owners within our community. It is also a chance to let others know who you are and what you do, while exposing them to new trends in business management and professional development.

Plan for an interactive workshop on topics such as (but not limited to): Time Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Social Media, Work/Life Balance, Strategic Planning, and Communications.

The official request for proposals begins in the Fall of each year and POWER Lunch series workshops for the following year are selected and announced in November

To be considered, your proposal needs to include:

  • Program Name
  • Program Outcomes: Include a synopsis of the topic, the value it provides to participants and the relevance to business management skills development.
  • Learning Objectives: Use SMART objective writing. Your time goes very fast, so only select one or two key points and leave time for questions (20-30 minutes).
  • A plan for program delivery: Activities, slides, handouts etc.  Our participants like interactive workshops.
  • Your resource requirements: Laptop, projector, flipchart, etc.
  • Your target audience: New entrepreneurs, established business owners, managers, etc.
  • Your resume: Ensure it clearly demonstrates your skill or area of expertise with two or three recent references from previous presentations.
