The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA)
and Mount Saint Vincent University’s Centre for Women in Business are seeking export-ready companies interested in participating in a multi-sector business-to-business trade mission to Kingston and Montego Bay, Jamaica from May 28 - June 4, 2017.
This mission will provide you with an opportunity to assess the possibilities in the Jamaican market by meeting a number of pre-qualified potential customers, partners, agents, distributors and other key industry contacts and organizations in the region.
The trade mission will consist of 3.5 days in Kingston, Jamaica, and an option to spend 2 days participating in the Jamaica International Exhibition in Montego Bay, Jamaica [JIE].
The focus of the exhibition will be on business process, tourism, construction, agriculture and manufacturing.
The mission will consist of targeted business-to-business meetings tailored to your market needs and interests; market briefing meetings with the Canadian High Commission and relevant business associations, and a networking event to provide further opportunities for collaboration.
Travel and meeting schedules will be modified to accommodate each delegate’s requirements. You will also be provided with logistical support while in Jamaica, including in-market transportation. As a delegate, you will be responsible for your airfare, accommodations and meals. The non-refundable registration fee is $500 CDN plus HST.
The deadline for registration is April 21, 2017. Space is limited, and all applicants will be screened for eligibility and suitability, and must be in good standing with ACOA and the Government of Canada.
